I Got A Sperm Donor At 27 (for free)
In this video I share how I conceived my first baby. I respect that my choice and sperm donation in general, might not be for everyone. I put a lot of thought into my decision and discussed it with many people, including professionals. I researched and I planned. I read (and continue to read) books and articles about baby/child development and all kinds of parenting stuff. It was my time. I was ready to put my whole heart and mind into someone else besides myself. I was ready for my life to not be about me anymore. Just about 2 years after I gave birth to a perfect baby girl, I am finally sharing how she came to be. I needed to become a mom, right exactly at the time I did (though I may not share every single detail) and I will stand up for my choice.
I also am dying to connect with other single mothers by choice, other moms and just people who come to my channel and show me support! So this video is for that as well!

I’m in the UK and I’ve been seriously considering using a sperm donor at some point in the next two years – I’m 28 this year and after my long term relationship with someone not wanting children breaking down last year I’ve realised that I absolutely want to be a Mum and I’m ready to be one NOW and I have no interest whatsoever in seeking out “the right man” and having to go through years of building a relationship and a future to have it potentially go tits up again and going back to square one and not having a family! I don’t know anyone in the UK who’s become a single Mum by choice in this way though and it’s so complicated and scary
If you are still looking for a donor, it doesn’t hurt if you take a look at me and see if I can help you with that. I don’t consider myself a bad looking guy.
Send me a message here or in my channel. It doesn’t hurt to know me.
I’m so happy for you!!! ? I feel the same way I’m 28 I’m searching for sperm donor‘s I feel like my family will definitely judge me I want to be a mom so badly loved this video so much! ❤️??
@ritch for real?
@MeganDxoxo if its possible I would love to help you and for free
@MeganDxoxo I could drop my email on a video on your channel for more privacy
Awesome I will definitely email you ??
@MeganDxoxo I did send it to you
Question! For future children, if you decide to go this route, Will you (our can you) use the same donor?
That was the ONE thing I forgot to mention that was also important. The answer is yes and yes – it was part of our contract that if I desired, he would help me conceive a second baby so Hazel could have a blood sibling! Which is very important to me.
WhitandbabyH can your donor help other women too? He seems trustworthy
@WhitandbabyH this is amazing, so happy you are happy with your decision
I’m thinking of doing this too! I’m 28 and I’m afraid of waiting too long for the “right guy”. At the moment I care more about having kids, and ideally I would be able to meet someone later without having to feel rushed into anything. Thank you for sharing! You’re inspiring ?
That was exactly what I was thinking!! Glad to hear I’m not alone with this thinking! ❤️
I am 27 and feel the exact same way! Why rush your soulmate?
@Erica Hodgdon Did you find a donor?
@Jessica Yañez did you find a donor
I’ll tell you right now.. if you want it, go for it! I’v been planning on doing this since I was 30. I’m 39 now and still haven’t gone through with it. The time flies by so quickly. I’m definitely planning on doing it before the end of the year
I watched a video on YouTube about childless women and many were not childless by choice. For many it was because the relationship broke down before they had a baby ??. I support you in your decision to take control of your life and make choices that make you happy. I am a single mother because it didn’t work out with her dad.I love being a Mum and it’s the biggest accomplishment of my life. I wish you and your child all the best in life ❤️❤️❤️????
as a lesbian, I’ve always known I’d get a sperm donor, but I always assumed it would be with a partner because solo motherhood always seemed like a taboo. But the older I get– I’m 23 lol, the more I see solo motherhood as the choice that makes the most sense to me. I could have my child and have a partner as well, but my child would be my own and immune to any custodial battles in case things don’t work out. I also wouldn’t feel “trapped” with anyone because of a child. I want to do this by 31 — just need to make sure I’m as financially set as possible. I’m proud of you for honoring your primary desire to mother.
This is exactly why I keep thinking about being a donor because some women are not interested in men but still want a child
Im a single mom at age of 21 my daughter now is 7, i never been married nor hoping to someone to set up life with me.. But thank God we survived..i think we have different point of views on how we set ourselves if we enter this but for me as i experienced its full of joy and happiness having a baby with or without a partner
Same! Lesbian here, I am proof that being raised by a single Mom has influenced me in many ways. Might be a second generation single mom. Can’t wait to find a compatible donor soon. Motherhood excite me especially being single Mom by choice.
@ritch?
@Chen Marie Dy Vlogs married options is best enjoy the whole life
I’m literally at the same point in my life! 27 and been ready for a kid, currently doing my research on sperm donation.
I’m excited for you! Keep me posted!
You’re lucky that your society is okay with it.
Same!
Have you been finding any donors yet?
How can i donate
It’s great seeing other women’s experiences with this. I’m in my early 30s and have decided to give myself 2 more years. If I haven’t met someone by then I’ll go looking for a sperm donor. Being a single mum is something I worry about, especially regarding the lack of a dad and the amount of pressure it puts on you to take care of a child on your own. But one reassurance for me is that I’m very close to my brother and sister in law and their children and the kid will have amazing grandparents as well. But it seems a weighty decision to make.
I’m so glad to finally hear this part of your story ❤️
Aw thank you!! I’m so glad! Your support means so much to me! ❤️
Hi Whitney, I stumbled upon your channel recently and I’m so so happy I did. Thank you for sharing!! I’m 24 years old and I don’t see myself in a relationship. Ever. But I always knew I definitely wanted to become a mom, so I also plan to use a sperm donor, and I still remember how happy I was when I discovered this option (I’m from Germany)!! Although I don’t plan to ttc for a couple of years I still love to see other people doing it! So thanks a lot! I’d love to see more videos in this subject!!
I want to be a free donor if I can help, I think its something amazing a guy can do
I can donate (for free). What are your requirements?
Im here to help you????
I’m so glad you found my channel too! I understand where you’re coming from COMPLETELY. It’s discouraging to only hear stories about women in their mid 40s who are very successful choosing to be smbc. Like you need have you’re entire life sorted out in order to do it alone…it’s challenging but definitely possible and totally worth it. I have many feelings on the subject.
I am starting to think a lot about this. I’m nervous about meeting the right person who isn’t a creepy person lol and I’m scared my friends and family will think I’m crazy for thinking about this.
thank you for talking about this
Ah yes, I remember being nervous about that too. And tbh, you don’t have to share exactly all the details with people if you don’t want to. But I understand the pressure…I don’t see or talk with most of my family often so it wasn’t such a big deal to me. Even less so now that she’s here. I hope you can figure out what you want to do! ❤️
I’m looking to help women
I don’t know if you are going to find a free/known sperm donor who isn’t odd or creepy, just make sure you use precautions to stay safe(require health checks and don’t be alone when you meet with the donor etc).
I remember you talking about the specifics a teeny bit back when you were TTC. You are one brave, smart and loving Mumma. Hazel is so lucky to have a Mom who wanted her so bad, she did anything she could to have her. ♡ So much love to you.
Omg my heart! I’m so grateful that you’ve been around that long!! Thank you so much!! ?
♡ Absolutely I adore you, your drive and your story!
I’m 37 and I have been in relationships that seemed like it was a complete waste of my time. In the beginning it was hopeful with the intention of getting married and having children. Unfortunately, circumstances would change and it seemed unfair for me to wait to have children;due to not being in a relationship. When my niece was born it changed my whole world and thought about life. Even though motherhood is scary and unknown. I wasn’t scared to bring up a child by choice alone. I have a wonderful supportive family that understands my life altering decision. Family is love and that’s what is really about!! ❤️??
Are you gonna find a donor
If you haven’t found a suitable donor, I can help you out for free. What are your requirements?
@J.C. L. Let me guess: tall white athletic male who is also a multi-millionaire and owns mansions across Europe.
@Abdullah Al-Shimri oh and congrats on winning against Argentina, about time those divas had a taste of what is good. Keep it up.
Thank you for sharing your story! ? I’m a single mom also.
I’m so glad you appreciated it! Thanks for watching!! Yay single moms! ?
I’ve donated sperm a few times for free, on those websites myself. Only by AI (sperm in a cup) never by NI (having sex).
I’ve heard about a lot of negative experiences that women had with other donors from these sites, when I met them. From guys wanting to charge 500-1000 dollars, guys insisting on NI only/wanting NI instead of AI last minute, last minute no shows.
My negative experiences were getting ghosted post donation. I just wanted to know, if it worked. So, I can keep my donor children in the single digits.
My other negative experience was getting told last minute. That one woman actually lived in my hometown and not half an hour away like she initially said.
I don’t want to essentially live in the same neighborhood, as them.
So, I wound up apologizing and backing out of that donation.
I am very grateful that people like you are helping others become parents!! ?
WhitandbabyH Thanks! I really appreciate that.
Blake Aldama I’m sorry, but I’m not donating right now.
Thank you for donating. ❤
I respect everyone’s decisions and going after your dreams! I find this quite interesting. Although I’m discouraged by all the women in the comments saying they’re going this route just because they’re scared they won’t find someone to marry. Particularly everyone throwing out this arbitrary age— 28. I met my husband at 29, was married at 30, and pregnant a month after our wedding. So just offering another option that it IS absolutely possible to find your partner at or close to age 30 and still have kids! But to each their own.
I’m aware of this, others probably are too. Thats amazing for you! Congratulations! Yes, to each their own.
Not all of us are that fortunate, but good for you.
Sorry Jessah but you maybe actually compliant and actually want to be a wife. A lot just want kids and don’t want to be married so they can do whatever they want. Your husband is “oppressing” you ?.
Thank you for sharing! This is so empowering! Did you ever deal with judgement from your family? I would be interested in this but my family can be super traditional and judgemental
You are incredible! Thank you for sharing! I went through IVF to get pregnant with my baby with my bf, and I think what you did was so smart and that’s so awesome that it worked!!
Aw thank you! I’m so thankful for your kind words! It was hard to imagine receiving any supportive comments and so this really means a lot to me!
I’m considering doing this next year
I’m glad to see someone else close to my age! I’ve read a couple books written by Single Mothers By Choice but I’m super happy to see others in my age range
I think I can help you out with this, for free and from a distance. I consider myself good looking but there are always demanding tastes, so it depends on you to decide, besides other requirements you might have.
Aw thank you! I know, it’s was a bit discouraging to only hear stories of women in their mid 40s and who had very successful careers choosing to be a single mom by choice. That’s a reason why I wanted to share. Because I find myself wishing there were more stories of younger women choosing smbc.
I thought about doing this but then I met my daughters dad. Relationship drifted later .
I admire you for doing what’s best for your family at the time.
