I finally answered questions I got online and in-person about donating my hair at Heads by Volu-med salon (Hair For Hope) in Makati.

Hi! You can cut off the parts that have been colored and donate the part that hasn’t been colored yet. 🙂
do you trim the ends po? i trimmed off the old hair that had had treatment in the past so now i’m left with virgin hair, pero the ends still get rough after a while :/ do you have like tricks po so that the ends stay healthy? sayang lang kasi pag nagpapahaba ka tas titrim mo rin lang pala ? pero ampanget kasi eh i don’t wanna donate busted hair

@IsaCarmela jdksks actually I already cut off 12 inches (haven’t been able to ship it yet) kaya di na siya issue but I’ll keep this in mind for the future! thank you ?
I trimmed mine nung grabe ung split ends. As long as it’s virgin hair I think it’s okay. But if your hair is still damaged, baka masira lang din pag dinonate mo. Sayang nga. 🙁 But it’s ok to give your hair time to heal. I hardly used hair products so my hair didn’t get too damaged. I just used shampoo, conditioner and occasionally coconut oil! 🙂
@kezia lion thank you po ? shampoo (and conditioner but rarely) lang ginagamit ko, try ko yung coconut oil pag desperate times na!

Yeah I remember seeing earlier this year that the minimum was 10″, but they updated it on their Facebook to be 12 too. May time ka pa naman to grow it out! 🙂
