I had donated a completely unknown cancer patient 3 years ago. Son of the patient was so grateful to me. He called me the next day of the donation to know how is my heath and me. After 6 months he again called me to know how am i. After 3 years he again called me and told me that the cancer patient (his mother) had died that day. He thanked me again and told he will always remember me, again told me that because of my blood, Almighty had given some more time to spend with his mother.

I was so grateful. I had donated 4 times till today. Nobody even called me the day after the donation. But, this man called me 3 years later. Unbelievable!!

How do they contact you I mean whoever receives your blood gets your information that’s beautiful

Yeah, I’m not sure that actually happened. Unless they randomly pulled your name out of a hat and told the patient (since they typically keep that information confidential). But thank you for donating. A majority of the planet is too selfish/scared to do it

I donated on the 16th and experienced heart palpitations which has never happened before in the 9 years I’ve been doing it. The palpitations stopped the next day but it was a weird sensation. Loved this video. Very informative! Thank you.

I donated for the second time yesterday. I felt like my blood pressure got better afterward, if that’s possible. I felt good and calm. A few hours later though I got really tired. It’s a win win though, because you get to help people and you get a lot health benefits and it’s free. ?

Donated yesterday. Been trying to donate every 4 months or so for the last few years. I like that I’m contributing to helping save lives in exchange for giving something that is relatively insignificant at that moment for me. The health benefits are just a bonus

I donated 11/22/2022 yesterday for the first time, today is 11/23/2022 here now in Pennsylvania. I was feeling weak, lightheadedness, & fatigue after I finished donating which was fast because I drink lots of water I stopped drinking juice & soda over a year & I don’t take no prescription medication. I eat healthy all the time. I’m just glad that I can donate to save a life & I will be going back again to donate the second time.

Hello all. I wish everyone good health and happiness. I’m 37 years old and have donated 2.5 gallons of blood throughout my life (recently). I wish I had started earlier since my teenage years. There’s no better feeling than donating blood and saving lives in the process.

Today I donated and was fine immediately after. I had worked out this morning, donated in afternoon, then in evening about passed out after a flight of stairs. I love giving and won’t stop, but definitely have to watch my activity and nutrition on donation days. I didn’t eat or drink enough today ?

I have donated blood 5 times. At first I got a headache and felt extremely hungry and tired. But it is important to donate blood because it is important. For those who want to donate blood. You should donate at least 2 or three times a year. But I hope to donate as much as I can in the future! That is for sure.
